Paul Krugman visited the OECD on 5 June, 2001 on his way back from the 25th anniversary of his time as a Bank of Portugal consultant (which is when we first met). The topic of his talk was The return of the return of depression economics and Room C in the OECD headquarters was standing room only. The Secretary General attended and the questions were many. Some pictures:
  • "Clash of the titans", a discussion with Daniel Cohen
  • Dedication to Portuguese Delegate (with another discussion in the background)
  • A pause in the dedication to Japanese Ambassador
